Marijn has worked extensively with healthcare systems around the world and is passionate about leveraging technology to deliver better outcomes for both practitioners and patients.
Marijn is a 20+ year operational and commercial veteran having previously held regional and global roles with Nike, Physitrack, and VALD Health.
While at Nike Europe and Nike Australia, Marijn was instrumental in rolling out SAP across the business, with a key focus on the customer operations side.
Driven by a strong interest in healthcare, and the role technology can play in improving outcomes for both practitioners and patients, Marijn pivoted into health tech in 2015 and has helped numerous health tech companies scale globally since.
This includes growing Physitrack from zero to IPO, and helping VALD Health expand into new markets around the world.
Being truly multi-lingual (Marijn speaks English, Dutch, Spanish, French, and German) Marijn also brings a deep understanding of healthcare systems around the world.
Interesting fact: when growing up in The Netherlands Marijn represented his country playing in the U16 and U18 national volleyball team.
